New studios and family apartments in Myllpuro

This property in situated half a kilometer away from the Metropolia campus and the Myllypuro metro station and it consists of two buildings with 84 studios and 14 two-room apartments in total.

The studio apartments are 24,5 square metres and the two-room apartments 42,5-43 square metres. The apartments have white walls and oak-coloured vinyl floors. The kitchen cabinets are white, backsplash is a gray laminate board and the worktop is made of stainless steel. The bathroom walls are tiled in two shades of gray and the floor tile is dark. All apartments have a dishwasher and the bathroom has a place for tenant’s own washing machine.

There are bicycle storage rooms and storage lockers on the ground floors of both buildings. The laundry room is situated in the A building. It is a common laundry room for tenants of both buildings of Yläkiventie 4 as well as tenants of Yläkiventie 7. There is also a lounge area next to the laundry. On the top floor of building B, there is a common tenant sauna that can be booked free of charge and a club room. There are no parking spaces at this property.

Yläkiventie 4 is located less than 500 meters from the Myllypuro metro station, a mall and the Metropolia campus. There is also Stadin AO (Helsinki Vocational College and Adult Institute) on the Myllypuro campus area as well as Helsinki's new language high school in 2023. A total of four Hoas houses will be completed in the area, so a large concentration of student life is emerging in Myllypuro.

Thanks to the metro and bus lines, moving to and from Myllypuro is very convenient. The journey to the center of Helsinki takes only 17 minutes by metro, services of Itäkeskus are a minute away, and Kallio can be reached in 13 minutes. Night buses run from the Helsinki city center to Myllypuro in about 25 minutes. Bus 506 from the Myllypuro metro station takes only 8 minutes to Viikki, 19 minutes to Arabia and 22 minutes to Kumpula campus. Bus 561 runs from Liikuntamylly stop e.g. to Malmi station in 11 minutes.

There are two good-sized grocery stores in Myllypuro mall. Itäkeskus shopping center Itis offers a wide selection of shops and restaurants as well as free time services. Itäkeskus is located less than two kilometers away, so in addition to the metro, you can also get there conveniently on foot or by bike.

Myllypuro's outdoor and exercise opportunities are very good. To exercise you can go to the Myllypuro sports park or sports halls of Pallomylly, Arena Center or Liikuntamylly, for example. There are many outdoor trails in and around the area, and nearest place to go for a walk is Alakivenpuisto park. Nice outdoor destinations are also, for example, the Hallainvuori area in the direction of Viikki or the Mustavuori nature reserve in Vuosaari.

In the Yläkiventie apartments, heating is included in the rent, with the exception of electric towel dryer in the bathroom.

WATER FEE: This property will have water fee from the beginning of 2024. The water fee is invoiced monthly in advance together with rent payment, and the fee will be checked every four months. Water fee for studios is 25 € and for two-room apartments 35 € per month.
